Anquam Mahamoud

Anquam Mahamoud is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 62B, which encompasses the Phillips and Powderhorn neighborhoods of Minneapolis. Born in San Diego and raised in Minneapolis, she holds a B.S. in psychology from Saint Catherine University. Before her election in 2024, Mahamoud worked as a substance treatment and mental health provider, including serving as the COO of Twin Cities Health Services. She focuses her political platform on healthcare accessibility and community support.
