Antanas Matulas is a Lithuanian politician and physician who has served as a long-standing Member of the Seimas, the parliament of Lithuania. Born in Pernarava, he initially pursued a career in medicine, graduating from the Kaunas Medical Institute and working as an obstetrician-gynecologist and hospital administrator. Entering politics in the early 1990s, he served on the Pasvalys District Council and as its chairman. Since 2004, he has been a consistent member of the Seimas, where he is known for his legislative work in public health, including initiatives to restrict alcohol advertising.
