Anthony Daniels

Anthony Daniels is an American politician serving as a member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 53 since 2014. A resident of Huntsville, he has held the position of House Minority Leader since 2017, leading the House Democratic Caucus. Professionally, Daniels is an educator who previously worked as an elementary school teacher. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from Alabama A&M University. In 2024, he unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for Alabama's 2nd congressional district.
