Anton Quni

Anton Quni is a Kosovar politician and former military commander who currently serves as a member of the Assembly of Kosovo. A career officer trained at the Military Academy in Belgrade, he played a significant role in the Kosovo Liberation Army during the 1998 conflict, notably participating in the Battle of Koshare. Following the war, he served in the Kosovo Protection Corps and the Kosovo Security Forces. Quni has been a prominent figure in the Democratic League of Kosovo, previously serving as the Minister of Defence and as a long-time parliamentary representative focused on internal affairs and security oversight.
