Antti Häkkänen

Antti Häkkänen is a Finnish politician who has served as the Minister of Defence since 2023 and as a Member of the Parliament of Finland since 2015. A member of the National Coalition Party, he previously held the position of Minister of Justice from 2017 to 2019. Educated at the University of Helsinki with a Master of Law, Häkkänen began his political career on the Mäntyharju town council. He is known for his conservative economic views and has been a prominent figure in Finnish national security policy.
