Hitoshi Aoyagi is a Japanese politician and former international development professional currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Nippon Ishin no Kai party. Before entering politics, he worked extensively with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), focusing on peacebuilding, infrastructure development, and the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
