Hiroshi Nakatsuka

Hiroshi Nakatsuka is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives and as the Secretary-General of Nippon Ishin no Kai. A graduate of Waseda University, he began his career as a journalist for the Sankei Shimbun before entering politics. He served four terms as the mayor of Hirakata City, where he was noted for pioneering the use of manifestos in municipal administration. Throughout his career, he has also served as a member of the Osaka Prefectural Assembly. Nakatsuka has consistently maintained his innocence regarding a 2007 bid-rigging conviction, claiming the case was a result of a misunderstanding by the prosecution.
