Куришбаев, Ахылбек Кажигулович

Akhylbek Kurishbayev is a Kazakh statesman, scientist, and agronomist who served as a Member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan from 2020 to 2022. He has held prominent leadership positions throughout his career, including serving as Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan from 2008 to 2011, rector of the Kazakh AgroTechnical University, and President of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan starting in 2024. A Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, he has contributed extensively to agricultural research and higher education administration in Kazakhstan.
