Zharkynbek Amantay is a Kazakhstani politician, philologist, and journalist currently serving as a member of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan for the VIII convocation. Elected in 2023 representing the Pavlodar Region, he serves on the Committee on Legislation and Judicial-Legal Reform. Prior to his parliamentary career, he worked extensively in media and cultural management, including roles at the Saryarka Samaly newspaper and as the director of the Pavlodar regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan. He was awarded the Kurmet Order in 2022 for his contributions to public life.
