Arco Hofland

Arco Hofland is a Dutch politician and administrator who served as the mayor of several municipalities throughout his career. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), he began his career in the civil service at the Council of State and the Immigration and Naturalisation Service. He later served as a municipal councilor and alderman in Naaldwijk and Dalfsen before holding mayoral positions in Zwartewaterland, Rijssen-Holten, Raalte, and most recently, Doesburg. He resigned as acting mayor of Doesburg in March 2026 due to a lack of support from the municipal council.
