Arkadiusz Chęciński

Arkadiusz Chęciński is a Polish local government official and entrepreneur who has served as the Mayor of Sosnowiec since 2014. A graduate of public administration from the Humanitas University in Sosnowiec, he previously operated his own business before entering politics. He served as a city councilor and Deputy Mayor of Sosnowiec, as well as a member of the board of the Silesian Voivodeship. Affiliated with the Civic Platform and the 'Yes! For Poland' movement, he has secured multiple re-elections as mayor, most recently in 2024.
