Arlindo Chinaglia is a Brazilian politician and physician who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of São Paulo since 1995. A founding member of the Workers' Party (PT), he held the position of President of the Chamber of Deputies from 2007 to 2009 and has served as President of the Parliament of Mercosur. Throughout his long parliamentary career, he has been a prominent figure in national politics, having served as a government leader for the Lula and Dilma administrations and as a state deputy in São Paulo. His career also includes leadership roles in the medical union and the Central Única dos Trabalhadores.
