He currently serves as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Saidapet constituency in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, having been elected in the 2026 state assembly elections. Prior to his political career, he worked as the managing director of Tejas Builders and served as the Managing Trustee of Sri Arangar Arutkudil. He is a member of the party founded by actor-politician Vijay.
