Ashlee Matthews

Ashlee Matthews is an American politician serving as a member of the Utah House of Representatives for District 37. First elected in 2020 after defeating an 18-year incumbent, she has focused her legislative platform on supporting working-class families, advocating for affordable day care, improved public transportation, and livable wages. Matthews has also expressed support for congressional term limits. Prior to her legislative career, she worked in the construction department of the Utah Department of Transportation starting in 2011.
