Ashok Dinda is an Indian politician and former professional cricketer who currently serves as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly representing the Moyna constituency. Before entering politics, he enjoyed a distinguished career as a fast bowler, representing Bengal and Goa in the Ranji Trophy and playing for various Indian Premier League franchises. He made his international debut for India in 2009 and retired from all forms of cricket in 2021 to focus on his political career with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
