Atis Labucis

Atis Labucis is a Latvian politician and biologist serving as a member of the 14th Saeima. He assumed office in December 2022, representing the New Unity party. Before entering national politics, he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Aquatic Ecology at the University of Latvia, where he also earned his doctoral degree in biology. He previously ran for a seat in the Saulkrasti municipal council in 2021. His legislative work focuses on representing the Vidzeme constituency.
