Atte Kaleva is a Finnish politician and entrepreneur who has served as a Member of the Parliament of Finland since 2021. A member of the National Coalition Party, he previously served as a Helsinki City Councilor starting in 2017. Before entering politics, Kaleva had a military career as an officer in the Finnish Defence Forces and served as a military observer in Kashmir. He is a recognized expert on jihadism and terrorism, having authored the book 'Jihad ja terrori' and survived a high-profile kidnapping in Yemen in 2012–2013. Politically, he is known for his conservative views, strong support for NATO, and vocal stance on issues related to immigration and radical Islam.
