Augustín Hambálek is a Slovak politician currently serving as a member of the National Council of Slovakia. Born in Trnava in 1957, he studied management at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Before his parliamentary career, he worked as an economist for the Trnava city council and served as the Deputy Governor of the Trnava Region. First elected to the National Council in 2012, he has maintained a long-standing political career, returning to the legislature in 2021 following the death of a colleague.
