Avinash Gehlot is an Indian politician currently serving as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Rajasthan and as a member of the 16th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly representing the Jaitaran constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he began his political career by contesting local municipal elections before winning his first assembly seat in 2018. He was re-elected in 2023 and subsequently appointed to his cabinet position, where he oversees the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
