Ayça Taşkent

Ayça Taşkent is a Turkish politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Sakarya. Born in 1959 in Adapazarı, she graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Uludağ University. Taşkent has a long history of political involvement, having served in various leadership roles within the Social Democratic Populist Party and later the Republican People's Party (CHP), including as the CHP Sakarya Provincial Chair. She was elected to the 28th Parliament in 2023 and serves on the Committee on Equality of Opportunity for Women and Men.
