Ayten Kordu is a Turkish politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly for Tunceli, representing the Democracy and Equality Party (DEM Party). Born in 1971 in Erzincan, she holds a degree in sociology and has been active in politics since 1992. Throughout her career, she has focused on women's rights, serving in the women's branches of the People's Democracy Party (HADEP) and as a director at the Gökkuşağı Women's Association. She also worked as the Director of Women's Policies for the Tunceli Municipality and was a founding member of the Imece Women's Association. Kordu was elected to the 28th Parliament of Turkey in 2023 and serves on the Environment Committee.
