Halide Türkoğlu is a Turkish politician and sociologist currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for Diyarbakır. Born in 1985 in Diyarbakır, she graduated from Anadolu University with a degree in sociology. Before her parliamentary career, she was deeply involved in the Kurdish women's movement, working for the Çınar Municipality's Women's Policy Directorate and serving as an activist for the Free Women's Movement (TJA). She has held leadership roles within the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), focusing on democratic local governance and women's rights.
