Aziz Akhannouch

Aziz Akhannouch is a Moroccan politician and businessman who has served as the Prime Minister of Morocco since October 2021 and as the mayor of Agadir. A prominent billionaire and the CEO of the Akwa Group conglomerate, he previously served as the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries from 2007 to 2021 and became the president of the National Rally of Independents in 2016. Following his party's victory in the 2021 general election, he was appointed prime minister by King Mohammed VI, leading a coalition government focused on economic development and administrative reforms.
