Azma Bukhari

Azma Bukhari is a Pakistani politician and lawyer who currently serves as a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab and provincial minister for information for Punjab. Born in Faisalabad as the daughter of a former Lahore High Court justice, she earned a Bachelor of Laws from the Pakistan College of Law and has practiced as a lawyer in the Lahore High Court. First elected to the Provincial Assembly in 2002 on a reserved seat for women representing the Pakistan Peoples Party, she later joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in 2013 and has continuously won re-election across successive general elections.
