B. Shivanna is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly for the Anekal constituency. First elected in 2013, he has successfully retained his seat in the 2018 and 2023 elections. In addition to his legislative duties, he was appointed chairman of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation in January 2024. Before his tenure in the state assembly, he served as a Zilla Panchayath member and was active in student politics through the National Students' Union of India.
