馬場成志

Seishi Baba is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Councillors, currently in his third term. Born in Kumamoto City, he began his political career in the Kumamoto City Council before serving five terms in the Kumamoto Prefectural Assembly, where he held the position of Chairman. Since his initial election to the national Diet in 2013, he has served in various roles, including State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications and Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. A member of the Liberal Democratic Party, Baba is known for his conservative policy stances, including support for constitutional reform and increased defense spending, while maintaining strong ties to agricultural and tobacco industry interest groups.
