Babulal Marandi is an Indian politician and a prominent tribal leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He currently serves as the Leader of Opposition in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and previously served as the first Chief Minister of Jharkhand from 2000 to 2003. He has also been a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha and founded the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha before merging it back into the BJP in 2020.
