Bahramand Tangi

Bahramand Tangi is a Pakistani politician who served as a Member of the Senate of Pakistan from March 2018 to March 2024. Elected as a candidate of the Pakistan Peoples Party representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he became known for proposing resolutions advocating for severe punishments and public office bans for individuals spreading negative propaganda against the armed forces, as well as a proposed ban on major social media platforms. His party membership was revoked in February 2024 due to disciplinary issues, and he completed his senatorial term shortly thereafter as an independent figure.
