Bahruz Maharramov is an Azerbaijani politician, lawyer, and academic serving as a Member of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan. Born in 1983, he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Baku State University in 2004 and later pursued a career in law. He is an associate professor at the UNESCO Department of Human Rights and Information Law at Baku State University and has authored numerous scientific articles and books. In addition to his legislative duties, he is a member of the Azerbaijani Bar Association and serves on several parliamentary committees, including the Committee for Law Policy and State-Building and the Human Rights Committee.
