Barbara Otte-Kinast

Barbara Otte-Kinast is a German politician and farmer who currently serves as a Member and Vice President of the Landtag of Lower Saxony. Previously, she held the position of Minister for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection in Lower Saxony from 2017 to 2022. Before entering state-level politics, she was involved in local government as a member of the Hameln-Pyrmont district council and the Bad Münder city council. She also served as the chair of the Lower Saxony Rural Women's Association.
