Barnabas Tinkasimire is a Ugandan politician serving as a Member of Parliament for the Buyaga West constituency in Kagadi District. First elected in 2006, he has been a long-standing member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). He gained national attention as one of the so-called 'rebel MPs' who opposed the removal of presidential age limits in 2017, briefly aligning with the People Power movement before returning to the NRM party ahead of the 2021 general elections. He previously served as the Chairman of the Bunyoro Parliamentary Caucus.
