Barnabas Tinkasimire is a Ugandan politician serving as a Member of Parliament for the Buyaga West constituency in Kagadi District. A member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), he has held his parliamentary seat since 2006. Tinkasimire gained national attention as one of the 'rebel MPs' who opposed the removal of presidential age limits in 2017. Although he briefly aligned with the People Power movement, he eventually returned to the NRM party ahead of the 2021 general elections.
