Gloria Hooper, Baroness Hooper, is a British lawyer and Conservative life peer who has served in the House of Lords since 1985. Educated at the University of Southampton, she began her career in the legal sector before entering politics, notably serving as a Member of the European Parliament for Liverpool from 1979 to 1984. Throughout her career, she has held numerous leadership roles in educational and cultural organizations, including the British Educational Suppliers Association and the Royal Academy of Dance. She was appointed a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George in 2002.
