Barsaman Pun

Barsaman Pun is a Nepali communist politician and a prominent member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist-Centre). During the Nepalese Civil War, he served as a key commander of the People's Liberation Army under the nom de guerre Ananta. Following the transition to peace, he has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Finance, Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, and Minister of Peace and Reconstruction. He currently serves as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Rolpa district.
