Basanagouda Turvihal is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Maski constituency. Born in 1965, he began his political career with the Bharatiya Janata Party before switching to the Indian National Congress. He successfully contested the 2021 by-election and retained his seat in the 2023 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election. In addition to his legislative duties, he was appointed as the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Board in January 2024.
