Bashiru Ayinla Dawodu is a Nigerian physician and politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Oshodi-Isolo I Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress. Born and raised in Oshodi, Lagos State, he attended King's College, Lagos, and earned his medical degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, later practicing as a pediatrician in the United States and serving as Chief Medical Director of Mitchell County Paediatrics in Georgia. Before entering elective politics, he was active in pro-democracy advocacy as a member of the National Democratic Coalition. He was first elected to the National Assembly in 2019 and subsequently re-elected in 2023.
