Bastian Sieler is a German local politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of the Hanseatic city of Stendal since August 1, 2022. Born in Stendal in 1987, he studied public administration at the Harz University of Applied Sciences and later earned a Master's degree in the same field. Before his election, Sieler worked in municipal administration and served as a district election officer. Although he ran as an independent candidate, he received support from the SPD during his successful 2022 mayoral campaign. In addition to his mayoral duties, he holds various supervisory board positions in local municipal companies and is active in regional foundations and associations.
