Marcus Klein is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Rhineland-Palatinate. Born in Kaiserslautern, he studied law at the universities of Heidelberg and Saarland before working as a civil servant in the Saarland state administration. A long-time member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he has served in various local government roles, including the city council of Ramstein-Miesenbach. In May 2026, he was appointed Minister for Federal and European Affairs, Sport, Volunteering and Media, as well as Head of the State Chancellery in the cabinet of Minister-President Schnieder.
