Becky Currie is an American nurse and politician serving as a Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for the 92nd District. First elected in 2007, she is known for her conservative legislative record, most notably sponsoring the 2018 Gestational Age Act, which prohibited abortions after 15 weeks of gestation and served as the catalyst for the landmark Supreme Court case Dobbs v.
