Begoña García Bernal

Begoña García Bernal is a Spanish politician and jurist currently serving as the Secretary of State for Agriculture and Food since 2023. A law graduate from the University of Extremadura, she previously held significant regional roles, including serving as the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, Population and Territory for the Junta de Extremadura from 2019 to 2023. Before her ministerial career, she worked in various municipal governments and served as a councilor in Arroyo de la Luz. She was elected to the Congress of Deputies in 2023 representing the province of Cáceres.
