Susana Sumelzo Jordán

Susana Sumelzo Jordán is a Spanish politician who has served as the Secretary of State for Ibero-America since 2023. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), she previously represented the province of Zaragoza in the Congress of Deputies from 2011 to 2024 and served as a senator from 2008 to 2011. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles, including chairing the Joint Congress-Senate Committee on the European Union and participating in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
