Belkhir Belhaddad is a French politician serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 1st constituency of Moselle since 2017. Born in Algeria, he moved to France as a child and began his political career in the Socialist Party, later serving as a municipal councillor and deputy mayor in Metz. After a period with the centrist movement, including La République en Marche and Territoires de Progrès, he returned to the Socialist Party in 2025. He is known for his advocacy on diversity and his opposition to the questioning of birthright citizenship in Mayotte.
