Benjamín Moreno Bascur

Benjamín Moreno Bascur is a Chilean politician and agricultural engineer serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for District No. 17 in the Maule Region since 2022. Before entering politics, he was an active rodeo rider and served as the president of the National Organization of Higher Education Rodeos. A member of the Republican Party, he previously worked as the chief of staff for presidential candidate José Antonio Kast. In his legislative role, he focuses on national defense, agriculture, and rural development, and he has been noted for his international advocacy, including a 2022 visit to Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian War.
