Benny Engelbrecht

Benny Engelbrecht is a Danish politician who has served as a member of the Folketing for the Social Democrats since 2007. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has held significant cabinet positions, including serving as the Minister of Taxation from 2014 to 2015 and as the Minister of Transport from 2019 to 2022. He resigned from his ministerial post in February 2022 following a controversy regarding the disclosure of information to the parliament. In addition to his political work, Engelbrecht is an author who has published several books on Danish politics and dietary issues.
