Michael Vindfeldt

Michael Vindfeldt is a Danish politician and lawyer who has served as the Mayor of Frederiksberg since January 1, 2022. As the first Social Democrat to hold the office, he ended 112 years of conservative leadership in the municipality. A graduate of the University of Copenhagen, he previously worked as a lawyer and partner at Sirius Advokater. Politically, he is known as a 'big-city Social Democrat' who has advocated for urban development, affordable housing, and the transfer of specialized social services from municipalities to the state. He was appointed a Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 2023.
