Benny Shendo

Benny J. Shendo Jr. is an American politician currently serving as a Democratic member of the New Mexico Senate, representing District 22 since January 2013. His district encompasses the Jemez Pueblo. Before his tenure in the state senate, Shendo was active in regional politics, including a 2008 primary campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Colorado Boulder and continues to represent his constituents in the New Mexico Legislature.
