Bert Knoblauch

Bert Knoblauch is a German local politician and the Lord Mayor of the city of Schönebeck (Elbe). A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he was first elected to the office in 2014 and subsequently re-elected in 2020 with 65.5% of the vote. Before entering politics, Knoblauch worked as a lawyer in Schönebeck. He holds a degree in law and completed his legal clerkship in Magdeburg. He currently resides in Barby with his family.
