A former teacher, he began his political career in local government, serving as a municipal councilor and later as the mayor of Saint-Pair-sur-Mer from 2014 to 2017. In the National Assembly, he has held the position of secretary of the Bureau of the Assembly and has been involved in legislative work concerning sports policy and anti-doping regulations. He is a member of the Renaissance party and has been re-elected to his parliamentary seat in 2022 and 2024.
