Beryl Amedee

Beryl Amedee is an American politician and businesswoman serving as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for the 51st district since 2016. A co-owner of Forerunner Errand and Concierge and a pastor at the Vision Christian Center, she has been active in local governance as a Terrebonne Parish elections commissioner since 2001. In the legislature, Amedee is known for her conservative policy positions, including authoring legislation to restrict transgender athletes in school sports and proposing requirements for medical providers regarding vaccine information.
