Bettina Hagedorn

Bettina Hagedorn is a German politician and a long-serving member of the Bundestag, representing the constituency of Ostholstein - Stormarn-Nord since 2002. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the Parliamentary Left movement, she has held significant roles in budgetary policy, including serving as a Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance and later in the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Before her national parliamentary career, she served as the mayor of Kasseedorf. Hagedorn is also active on various supervisory boards, including the GIZ and the German Children's Fund.
