Bhim Prasad Acharya

Bhim Prasad Acharya is a Nepalese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal. A long-time member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), he previously served as the Chief Minister of Province No. 1 from 2021 to 2022. Throughout his career, he has held various significant positions, including Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Chief Whip of his party's parliamentary group. He has been active in Nepalese politics since the 1970s, participating in student movements before rising to prominence in national and provincial governance.
